Step by step instructions to add text to TikTok:
Once you have recorded your video for TikTok, tap the checkmark located on the bottom right corner of your screen.
Step 1: Tap on “Text” located at the bottom of your screen.
Step 2: Type your text.
Step 3: Customize your text using different options:
- Add highlight by tapping the “A” symbol located on the left side of your screen.
- You can also change the color of your text by tapping on one of the color-filled circles on the bottom of the screen.
- If you want to change the font, you can scroll left and right to choose the one you want.
Step 4: When you are done editing your text, tap “Done” located in the top right corner of your screen.
Step 5: Next, drag your text to place it where you want it.
Step 6: You can set the duration of how long you would like your text to appear. Just tap on your text and then tap on “Set Duration”. From there, you can decide when and how long you want your text to pop up. Simply drag the timing bar to insert text at the desired timing.
Tip: If you made a typo or if you want to change the wording of your text, all you have to do is tap on your text and then tap “Edit” and you can change whatever you need.
